Hi daylight
The rash is by the armpit on the right side (my right boob is smaller so maybe I was pumping too much on this side to catch up with the other one and it caused a rash!) I already had a rash before I used the blu tac so the blu tac didn't cause it.
The blu tac is definitely more comfortable than not using anything with the domes. I tried the foam rings but they made me lose suction and I tried the yoga mat thing but I couldn't seem to get it to work so I went with the blu tac idea (just 66p a packet!) and it seems to be more comfortable!
Whilst noogling with the blue tac, I can still feel a very very slight pain from the rash (I wish it would go away!) but it's definitely nothing like when I just used the domes on their own. Each time, the plastic would rub on the rash and make it worse and worse each session. When I take off the domes with the blu tac on, yes it does hurt!! I think it's because I do already have a rash and I do try and do as much pressure as I can by building it up over the hour and pumping a little bit more when I feel like I can and holding. The blu tac really does stick to your skin and pulls when you take it off!
I don't think the blu tac has made the rash worse. I can use plasters better with the blue tac as the plastic domes used to lose suction when I would use them without the blu tac. Also, the red rings aren't so bad and they take a little less time to go down (depending on the suction you use)
Does anyone have any tips on how I can get rid of the rash for good? I really don't want to take a break already and wait for it to clear up as I've only been doing this for 3 1/2 weeks and I would lose all my swelling. I am using 100% aloe vera gel and plasters when I noogle and try to keep things from rubbing against the rash. Anyone else managed to get rid of a rash like this?
