Post-Pump: Do you leave lotion on?

I thought it would be interesting to hear what others do after pumping regarding lotion or oil used to lubricate the domes.  I used to wipe it off with a paper towel afterwards, but some months back I started gently rubbing it in afterwards and leaving it. I noticed that in-cup swelling seemed to be a little bigger around that time (perhaps making my skin softer and more able to be stretched). Now, however, I have to wash my "around the house" shirts more often, but I think it's worth it. Before putting on a bra to leave the house, I wipe off lotion and oils or wash most of it off.

What do you do?

I don't really use lotion to lubricate the dome rims, I could get suction without it.  I do so to lubricate my breast, if I don't they get itchy and I feel like my skin will break open when I'm pumping.  After pumping I rub the lotion in.  The lotion I use soaks in without much residue.

I do find that I have to wash my bras more frequently, hopefully I'll grow out of them cause they are wearing faster than normal with the extra washes.

Thanks for the response, Sissy. By "lubricate the domes", I meant "lubricate your breasts" - oops. I apply the lotion and oil all over my chest too, not just the dome rims. I use a ridiculous amount of lotion/oil since I get the best suction that way and my breasts can expand much easier into the cups. I also know what you mean with feeling like your breasts would explode without lubrication! I tried pumping once without anything and it was not very nice.

i usually just leave the lotion (coco butter or vasaline) on, i causes me no probs, i might rub it in a little bit then thats it,
it also makes me feel like i am looking after my boobies by moisterising them well after pumping the life out of them lol

I leave it on too.  Might help avoid stretch marks.

I use a normal body lotion, so, while stretching, it soaks into the skin like it should as well as lubricating the domes.  Afterwards I wipe off the excess and wash my breasts with warm water before putting on a bra.  Works for me.
