I think diameter no bigger than 13.5cm and the depth 18 or 19cm. That would be fab and stop the nipple squashing I am experiencing at the moment!! That would be amazing!

Hey Lucy,
Wow, I've just done some measuring, and my measurements last time were way off! I just figured everyone else was a weird shape
when really it was just me not being able to count.. Sorry about that! 12-13cm is definitely about right for diameter, and about 15-16cm high. Are the soft rings stretchy, or would a slight change in diameter mean you'd have to get another size made?

Thanks Sara, the rings are stretchy and i m hoping that the large cup ring will fit the new larger cup.
Thanks to everyone who has replied with suggested sizes. I ll keep this topic open for a while and then summarise the results at the end so we can then all make a final decision ,
best wishes
Lucy

question would the depth of the cups effect those that dont need the depth eg . Starry asked for 16 approx (opps I hope it was you starry ) and Id like 19 etc... would its have a negative impact on girls with smaller sizes
? re suction and growing etc....
If not why not go for the deeper option then it will suit both just a suggestion love jellyDeeee...

Hi Lucy,
I am in agreement as well. The large cup size is prefect in diameter but the added depth will allow for better suction pressure. I think that's what I mean.

Hi again, it was me I think..
My reasoning was that, the deeper the cup, the larger the surface area of the cup, and that means much more pressure on the rim against your chest, so it could cause damage to your skin.. The original research papers for the Brava are online somewhere, and they said the reason they were quite shallow, and fairly wide at the rim was that if you got those proportions wrong the cup couldn't be worn for longer periods of time due to tissue damage. I think you're right that the deeper it is the better for most people, but I think it's also true that the longer you can wear the cup the more growth you'll see and the longer that growth will last. It's a trade off, but I think if the rim was slightly bigger, and the cup slightly shallower than most people have asked for, you'd be able to wear it for longer comfortably and maybe get better results in the long run.

Thank you Sara. Your advice is excellent and makes alot of sense. We will certainly bear this in mind before we make a final decision about the new size.
best wishes

Hi Sara,
I don't know about brava's study results, I am familiar with doing enough studies and reports to earn my degree, and for professional purposes that once I formed an opinion, I could steer my results in the direction that I chose. Naturally, they were not scientific, and with the study/ focus groups we always did a lot of brainstorming and results/ observations always went to the person that did the most research and had the more eloquent argument. I am not suggesting that this is the case with brava as I am not at all familiar with their product except of course the ridiculous price they charge! It seems to me that if they offer a smaller size they can then sell a larger replacement in order to help with sales. In my opinion which is not professional, medical, legal, paid consultant, but only that of an NB user, Lucy and NB is more interested in supplying a quality product at an affordable price to help as many as possible reach their goals.
I do know from frequent use of my NB that the only time I have ever had an issue with discomfort was when I over pumped or over used my NB for a longer period than my body could take. I can also say with confidence that I have a friend that owns another breast and nipple enhancement system what you are mentioning here is right on target. Her system, had nipple enlarging tubes with an air lock and well as domes that also had airlocks. Briefly here is what that experience was like. First she helped me to pump up and extend my nipples then she helped me to attach the domes over the nipple cups. Then for the next hour I sat there with a dome in each hand until it was time to release the pressure. The nipple cups were about half as tall as a half liter water bottle and the width of the opening of bottle. The domes were about the height of the height of 1.75 liter bottle ( I think, in the US I am referring to the size of a large bottle of Coke). It was an effort for me to stay pumped for an hour in this position so, in this instance I would agree. However, with my NB, after looking at the Brava and reading the product description, and sending a few emails for questions and clarifications (big mistake on my part), I had the thought of getting an oversized bra and cutting a few holes in the center and inserting my NB. I can do whatever I want for however long I want with no problems. So I am in favor and have been advocating for a while to increase the depth of the large cups.
As far as the length of time one wears their cups NB, Brava or any other type goes, I think that the length of time one dedicates is a personal decision for each woman. Everyone has their own issues and circumstances to consider and each has to find their own way to adapt to those circumstances. I am not basing the comments on anything other than my own personal experiences, observatories, and conversations with others here and in general.

Can I change my initial idea - I think 13cm diameter and 18 or 19cm depth. I've been using the NB (not as consistently as I should) for just over a week and the swelling is lasting about 4-5 hours which is good. I am determined to be a 32D by August. This pump is so much better than the previous one I tried (which was much less comfortable, cut my skin and didn't give me any lasting swelling). I don't even find it painful to wear, which was the biggest surprise. I can't wait to get the soft cup rings for the large to add a slight bit of depth. Thank you Lucy for such a great product!!!

Hello ALL:
I haven't posted anything on this subject yet, because I am new and don't know much about the design of other cups. But I would like to see the new cups have a more round shape, while still adding depth if that is at all possible. I have read other ladies saying that they are using cups from other systems with the NB pump. But we should not have to go to other systems to get the kind of cup that we want. So maybe one that is more like popular ones. But maybe this has been suggested already through the dimensions that have been stated. I'm not good with measurements so please forgive me if I am being redundant and if this has already been taken into consideration.

Hi
As a new user I agree with the sentiment that same diameter as current large but deeper....and the silicon rings at close to the same time would be fine. My frame just would not take a larger diameter but I am within sight of filling the large cup.

Hi Kay,
Just a thought here but it seems to me, that the other ladies you mentioned may have already purchased another system from someone else and then discovered NB. Also I would think if they were happy with the other system andjust wanted to purchase a pump they could do so. I think without knowing the entire circumstances and reasons from those customers that had the other cups that you are referring to we are left to speculation and assumptions of our own choosing.
I can tell you from my own previous experience on my journey to better breasts, that the NB system is the best choice out there and the most reasonably, priced. I have not seen anything that comes close to what NB has here on this site. I can also tell you that I have not looked for anything since finding this site accidentally after a poor choice with products that did not work and terrible customer service that honored part of their satisfaction guaranteed or your money cheerfully refunded. I've mentioned this previous experience in an old post and can recap for you in anther thread to keep this thread on point if you'd like. However, I can also honestly tell you, should I find a site that had a "better cup" I would without hesitation not make the purchase even if that purchase were to come in the form of a free trial offer.
I will wait patiently, for Lucy and her business partners to come up with their own improvements and innovations. I've owned my NB for more than a year now, and have not had one issue that was not immediately addressed and always to more than I expected. I've gone from a 36A to a healthy 36B and my goal of reaching a sexy 36C is now within my grasp. In fact, at this point it seems so attainable, that I am considering making my goal 36D!
So whenever and whatever NB comes up with I will be there waiting in line for whatever it is they offer!
Kind regards,
Natale69

Thanks for the reply:
Really I thought this is where we were to put our suggestions and that is what I made. A humble suggestion, not an attack. I, like most women here will be waiting and wasn't suggesting that anyone else do anything different. But I should have worded things differently, as I am aware that these women had these cups before purchasing a noogleberry system. It was the fact that there was/is a preference by some in the shape of other cups. But I do not see where there should be an offense taken since people were asked to make suggestions. That was my suggestion a more round shape.
Thanks Again,
Kareemah

Hi Natale
I agree with Kareemah. We have both made suggestions, and you have criticised them based on the assumtion that we want the noogleberry to be more like another system. I think we're simply using other rival companies research and development to improve noogleberry further. We know what your suggestion is (same base, much deeper cup), but for reasons of physics and aesthetics we have added our suggestions - which aren't necessarily wrong for not being entirely in agreement.
I mentioned Khouri's study (Brava) simply because it's the only study I've come across that's shown long term results, and I would like to have a chance of achieving those results (although I know it's a long shot). His really early studies and patents seem to show that long term wear for long periods can give a permanent increase in breast tissue to some people, and that long term wear could only be achieved with the correct diamentions and padding, so as to cause as little damage to the skin as possible.
I know that not everyone is after the same thing as me, but like Kareemah, I was asked to give my opinion, and gave it. I wasn't an attack on anyone else's suggestion, or noogleberry.

Hi Starry,
I am sorry if I offended you or Kay, it was not my intention to offend or attack anyone. I just can't imagine anyone buying 2 separate systems to combine them into one and then complain about it. Every one of my opinions and suggestions are mine and mine alone based on my own experiences and with conversations with others. As for reports or studies while they may be fine my point was that any report can be slanted to the writer's opinion which may or may not be accurate. Case in point look at the many studies and reports with medicines approved by the FDA are coming under attack because of skewed and or falsified information? How many different class action lawsuits are out there because of inaccurate results? That was my point, it was an observation and not an attack. Not knowing what is in the report or if the report is a complete report or a summary I would not say anything either way about that report. Did you not also say that the report you were citing was old and that you were not sure how old? Have there been any more studies or reports written since that time? Have there been changes or improvements that were directly or indirectly related to that or any subsequent studies and or reports? I am not trying to criticize or attack anyone I am just asking questions that quickly pop into my head.
I have read to many reports and studies lately that seem to have facts omitted, not here on the NB site just everywhere I turn. I am finding this is type of situation so commonplace that it is everywhere in our lives.
As for my own suggestion, I was suggesting adding about 2 inches to the depth and not increasing the diameter in the hopes that it would be helpful to the same amount of women. With regards to the suggestion of keeping the cup the same diameter it seems to me that by increasing the diameter of the cups it reduces the amount of potential customers that can use the dual cup system.
Again, I am very sorry if I offended you or Kay with my previous posts that was not my intention at all
Regards,
Natale69
