There are two types of penis enlargement surgery available; Penis Girth Surgery and Penis Length Surgery. Penis Girth Surgery can involve surgical techniques such as injecting fat from another part of the body into the penis with reported increased in width of 1.4 - 4cm. There are studies, however, that show that the men who have this surgery can have disappointing results often with complications that can include lumpiness in the penis, infection, scarring on the penis and general disfigurement of the penis.
Penis Length Surgery involves the cutting of the ligament which is responsible for attaching the penis to the pubic bone, then performing a skin graft at the base of the penis which allows for the extra length. It is worth noting however that this does not increase the size of the penis when erect and the erect penis won’t point as high due to the lack of support that the cut ligament previous provided, this can make sex relatively uncomfortable. Due to being for cosmetic purposes, this surgery is also unlikely to available on the NHS.
